Hello friend, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.
If you are reading this, you are probably wondering where in the world of chronic illness I live since there are so many to choose from. I have been given the “opportunity” (AKA burden) to live my life with multiple chronic illnesses including: chiari malformation, tethered cord, hashimotos, ehlers danlos, ptsd, and a few others, but I don’t want to bore you with a longer list, and I sure as heck don’t want to make anyone jealous!
I am not a writer. Unfortunately, I have never been any good with the written or spoken word. My first chronic illness is congenital and affects my the entire body, including all aspects of language. There are so many beautifully written blogs out there dealing with chronic illnesses and as I read them, I dream of being able to write so beautifully. But, since this is not my reality, I will keep my posts short and to the point.
This blog is written in hopes that you may be able to find at least one tidbit of information that will allow you to live a more simple life in the not-so-simple world of chronic illness.
Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are gives us all the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people. Mr. Fred Rogers
