  1. Hmmmm …… I’d have to say it’s a toss between my stereo systems and my laptop to be here at WP. I love listening to music and with several really good sound systems in our home, (study, upstairs, living room) it’s wonderful to have music to be a part of each day. As for my laptop, that allows me to share what I love to do and to talk to so many friends around the world. SMILE!! xo

    • I LOVE this……..it’s it just amazing all the things we can do with just a phone……..I always feel so blessed that if I need to be in bed I can still watch videos and keep in contact with others while I can lie comfortably in bed………thank you so very much for stopping by to share!

  2. I was missing your questions Wendi.
The most important electronic device is the phone. It helps with all aspects of my life. Keeps me connected, informed, helps with blogging and in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

  3. My smart phone makes it easier for me to check my email, etc, when it’s too hard to get on my tablet and type. I can also listen to music at night when I have trouble sleeping. Bless you this week, dear Wendi!

  4. My Kindle Fire Tablet is a wonderful tool. It’s easy for me to carry, to go online, check my email, check the news, the weather, and my WordPress blog reader. I do my online shopping and post my blogs on my Kindle Fire.

I am writing a memoir. I write in the Notepad app that’s on my Kindle tablet, then email what I have written to myself. Later, I download my writings into the word processor program on my laptop. I have found that it’s much easier for me to do my initial first draft writing on my tablet, because it is light enough that even with my painful neck injury, I can carry my tablet around and write the really hard stuff, while pacing the house. I find that pacing helps!

    • wow! I know this isn’t a commercial for the Kindle Fire but man, they should pay you for all of this praise! πŸ™‚
I have a kindle fire that is stilling on a shelf and now I will definitely pull it off and start using it again……..Love that you are writing a memoir……..I know it will be amazing. Cheering you on in this journey.

  5. Although my workhorse is my laptop, I love, love, love my iPad mini. I can get work done, listen to music, watch all sorts of videos/tv episodes/movies, hop on the internet and so much more. And it’s the size of a book. Even though the camera can’t compare to a regular camera, I can download pictures from my Canon camera to my tablet for editing and sharing. I also love my digital voice recorder (Sony).

  6. Wow, this is tuff. At first I would agree with many here. The laptop is almost common place in our lives and has become second only to the cell phone.
Both have evolved around the same time and I (or my dear wife) has had them for over twenty years. Both have become totally useful to us and life would be different without them

    • I completely agree with you Sally……..I feel so blessed to have technology that allows me to interact with the outside world. I love that your iPad allows you to do so many things that makes your life easier. I hope today brings you smiles!

  7. Oh, good: another of your survey questions. 😍 I love these, and also reading the responses.
I would have to say my laptop, as this is my greatest source of information. I love to learn, and there are so many people who freely share excellent knowledge about topics I love to research.

  8. My laptop, because i can move it from one location of the house to the next. The phone isn’t for me, because it had become a holding fixation and not allowing me to enjoy some moments, due to always checking from notifications. thanks for the question

  9. Can I say the blender in which we make our protein shakes? Three electronic devices are important to me. The Portal that we use to see our family in Thailand, my Kindle that lets me control light and font and carry hundreds of books, and my phone that makes it safer when I’m out and about by myself. So many nice choices! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦½

I think about all the electronic blessings that are available to us and I am simply amazed. It makes our lives so much easier and enjoyable. Thank you so very much for stopping by and I hope today is treating you well.

  10. I left a comment last night, but now it isn’t here. I will try again, in case it was just a computer glitch.

My Kindle Fire tablet is a wonderful tool. It’s easy for me to carry, to go online, check my email, check the news, the weather, and my WordPress blog reader. I do my online shopping and post my blogs on my Kindle Fire tablet, as well.

When the writing gets hard, pacing definitely helps!

Last but not least, I read books on my Kindle tablet. I have been an avid reader since the second grade, always with a book close at hand. My Kindle is so much easier for my arthritic hands to hold than a “real” book, and ebooks are typically a lot cheaper to buy than hardback or even paperback books. I have hundreds of books waiting to be read on my Kindle, a small library’s worth. So many books, so little time.

I never want to be without my Kindle Fire tablet.

      • My pleasure! I find it easier to use my phone for writing. My schedule only allows me about 4 & half to sleep. Driving as Independant contractor in the day, working part in the evening; to help supplement our income. Another couple of years, I should be able to stop working in the evenings. Usual, I don’t make it home between. One of the bright side with COVID, getting to make it back home for about 90 minutes. My wife is home all day, and I’m extremely grateful for the extra time with her. Everything I do, working, writing, reading, commenting; all done between 8am, and 1230am. Why last year, I stopped blogging on the weekends. I needed, to put some more of the focus back on her, and our time together. Time management, God has given the blessings, to be able to master it! I He has been grooming my heart and soul, to love and thrive in it all. When he calls a heart to share His love, He equips it with His Amazing grace! God bless!

  11. I think it goes without saying that the cellphone is at the top for most of us, but I have to give incredible thanks and praise to God for headphones. It’s already hard enough to find privacy, to be undistracted, to not disturb others… but it is so much harder during these times of having to stay in. God blesses me so much just to be able to listen to His hymns, His sermons, church services, and even videos of friends with blogs or just something to share.
Praying you are having a safe and blessed day, Wendi!
    Me and God love you!

    • I have read that a MAC is such an amazing PC. Less bugs, less lag time, more efficient……..sounds amazing…….but with all of it’s amazing qualities I know it comes with a lovely price tag…….maybe someday! Thank you so much Mark…..do you create your photos on your MAC?

  12. Gosh, tough question! Although I’d say my phone is the most useful device as it can do most of the things I do on my laptop and desktop so if I could only keep one, I’d choose my phone. Yet, it’s also the device that adds to my distractions and requires me to learn more disciplined ways to manage it rather than have it manage me so I can’t say it makes my life easier. I sometimes wonder whether life would be easier without technology but I doubt I’d last long without it…!

  14. I love my IPod which is now basically obsolete, but I love listening to books on it. It goes a very long time without recharging, holds a lot of books and doesn’t ring or get texts or spam so I am quiet and peaceful when I use it.

  15. Hi Wendi… Mine is my Washing Machine… Mine broke beyond repair during the March strict lockdown here in the UK…. I went a month with out one, As shops were closed down.. I had to wash and wring out by hand and take bulkier washing back and forth to my daughters…. So I agree with Robbie on the washing machine.. πŸ™‚

  16. Thank you for sharing!.. cannot name any one device… whatever device, that at a given moment, allows me to live life in pursuit of happiness… today, the phone perhaps, tomorrow the laptop, there is my Kindle and one cannot forget my electric can opener… πŸ™‚

    Until we meet again..
May the love that you give
    Always return to you,
That family and friends are many
    And always remain true,
May your mind only know peace
    No suffering or strife,
May your spirit only know love and happiness
    On your journey through life.

    • You are absolutely right Sheryl. As much as I feel blessed to be able to use technology it make my life easier, when it doesn’t work right, I believe that it makes the task so much for difficult! Can you imagine what those who were adults 100 years ago would like about all that we have available at the touch of our finger tips!?
