life has a way of leaving us with scars…….well traveled paths embedded into our brains dictating to us how we view and experience life, how we see ourselves and the way we react to life’s experiences.

many times we are not even conscious of these thoughts…….they have been implanted, taught or rehearsed over many years………

much like the sand, the wind manipulates by force how to display itself with out even asking for permission…..

today, I am sending out a gentle reminding that YOU have feet, you CAN move in a positive direction, you can begin to CHANGE your thoughts, beliefs, desires, and choices………only you can take away the power of the past.

    • As you know Mark, I so look forward to your responses……you always write something that makes me think 🙂 and nudges by others have been a true blessing in my life and that freedom is exactly what I am working to reach. 🙂

      • I’m just one guide in billions in the universe dear lady, your heart will tell you if it fits. And the one thing I found in all that I did was…there can be lots of input, and there usually is, but you will take the steps to find your heart for you. That is the most important part of all because only you can truly love you for exactly as you are, by stepping past those inner fears by understanding them. And only you know how they truly hold you, others can be so, so or those dearly held friends, relations etc will support you as you take those steps…but in doing it yourself is an act of love no other can do. Self love is a total giving of an unconditional love because in facing it you will finally remove those condition of fear we place on our love of ourselves. And trust me, there are no wrong steps. It all guides us ever closer to that inner love dear lady 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

  1. Beautiful thoughts, especially in this season. We can so easily feel swept along by the currents, or swept along by our pain, but God has given us another way! Thank you so much for this reminder, Dear Wendi!

  2. Love this! I wrote a post last year about oars in our boats: a reminder that we all have oars, and we need to learn what they’re for, AND USE THEM! 😊
This is a beautiful reminder. Thank you.

  3. Beautiful are the scars, for they show us where we’ve been. Rough are some of the days, but we still have to embrace the moments. Embedded deep within are the experience, life needed to teach our hearts. The hours slip away like the SAND, why every moment… needs to be cherished! Inspirational, Blessings!

  4. Thank you for sharing!!.. wonderful words!!.. Yes, too often one is confronted by social pressure to be something or someone one is not “It is not easy to find happiness within ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.” (Agnes Repplier )…. 🙂
One rarely goes wrong following ones heart “Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.” ―( Roy T. Bennett )… 🙂

  5. Wise words dearest Wendi.. Indeed the choices of change no matter how small or insignificant they may seem are always ours to make.. And even if we start small, we begin to see the difference making them makes… And so we begin to shift the sands of time as we learn to become the flow of sand rather than stay stagnant and ridged still like a rock…

    Love and Blessings Wendi. ❤
