Would you like a letter?

As many of us around the world are in isolation, it feels very surreal to me.  Even though I spend more time at home then most people, it still feels odd not to be able to freely move around my little neck-of-the-woods when I am able.

Thank goodness for the ability to connect with others through our beloved wifi.  It is such a blessing to still feel close to those we are not able to spend time with.

But, I have to admit, I have always enjoyed receiving a real letter in the mail.  There is something special knowing that someone took the time and energy to sit down and write out a note just for you.

So, if you feel this way too, please let me know.  I would be thrilled to send you a letter, even if you live on the other side of the world.  I don’t want people feeling isolated from real contact.  I know a letter is not real contact but I feel it is a bit more personal than a text or a response on a post.

Please do NOT leave your address in the comment section but instead send me a message through my contact page.  If you do not hear back from me in 48 hours, I did not receive you message and please try again.

Please know I care about each and everyone of you.

    • Thank you Lorraine…….I spent approximately 2 years spending most of the time in bed and I so wished to receive mail so my heart goes out to others who may feel the same way. I hope you are taking great care of yourself. Be safe.

  2. Incredibly kind and thoughtful offer, I’m guessing you might get more takers than you expect ❤

Our PO was open a few days ago but our isolation measures get stricter by the day … hope you can get the stamps! We haven't had delivery this week at all …

  3. Aww Wendi, this is such a heartfelt, sweet thing to do! Let us know if you’d like one too, I’d happily send you one! Posties are still working here in the UK but I think services are gradually reducing, along with everything else. I agree though, there’s nothing quite like getting post & rushing out to see what you get (the odds are usually on junk mail!) ♥ xx

  5. You are very kind, Wendi, to offer to write to people. I have not written a letter for years but I have been reaching out to people via Facebook messenger and email to see how they are. I’m trying to keep in touch with people who are on their own.

  6. Thank you for sharing!!… a wonderful idea of reaching out, of letting people know they are not alone and someone is thinking about them!… proves how a caring and loving person you are!… 🙂

    Until we meet again…

May the love that you give
    Always return to you,
That family and friends are many
    And always remain true,
May your mind only know peace
    No suffering or strife,
May your spirit only know happiness
    On your journey through life.
