Shatter the cage your body imprisons your mind with

Allow your spirit to remain free

To soar above the pain,

chaos

and

confusion

fear

and

uncertainty

Instead observe the magnificent beauty that surrounds you

Hidden by your perceived reality

      • Oh thank you Wendi. I feel your prayers….awwww, thanks 😊 I am so blessed to pray for your health every time God puts you on my heart……but my memory struggles and I can’t remember if you’re fighting MS or Chiari both of which have similar symptoms to TBI. 🤗🙏

      • Oh Wendi🙁 I’m so sorry! I do know a lot about chiari from Ana. I have also researched it. I will continue to pray for you as you battle this and for your pain. It seems like these symptoms greatly resemble each other TBI and Chiari. I’m so sorry, so sorry😢😔

  1. Beautifully written Wendi. We do a wonderful job with these bodies struggling through so many things. But it does finally show us how to soar, accept the headwinds, follow the downdrafts, and appreciate the difference 😀
May your journey touch that inner glide ❤️

  2. Perceived reality. This was an incredible poem! We do seem to see everything from fibro flare mountain. Not much gets put back on the table after chronic pain diagnosis unless we search for it. This poem spoke to that state of mind beautifully! 😊💜

    • Thank you so very much for your kind words. It is so easy to write about, but another to live it. I guess I write to encourage myself to do what I so desperately want, to rise above.
      Bless you my friend. 🙂
