be the dragon

I am one who wholeheartedly believes in showing kindness, thankfulness and gratitude.

But, there are days I need to be more, much more, I need to be a dragon:  fierce, relentless, strong, powerful, self-reliant, who is able to burn a path for myself to tread.

How else am I to live ill, every – single – day, and still go on!?

Today I choose to be the dragon!

Taking flight soar as I please

Shooting fire below

To make my path more at ease

  1. Yes, I love this. How to use positive aggression to move forward, burning through obstacles and riding the beast with a firm hand, or flying as the wise and wily powerful beast wherever you wish to go. I salute the dragon that you are.

  3. Sometimes we have to become fierce and strong, it is what propels us through our day. Sending continued thoughts.. May the flames of desire keep you positive that through each imperfect day of struggle, those same flames will purify and heal. Such is the strength of intention and self-reliance.

    Much Love dear Wendi..
    Keep soaring High! 💚💙💚

    • Man I love reading your comments Sue. I really think you should write a book……….or a daily devotion/encouragement book. Bless you for all the wonderful words you fill my soul with. 🙂

  4. We need this. We need this because we go out too many times not to lose. We don’t go out to win. Being a dragon is about winning. It’s conquering our foes be it our fear or anger management. The smallness of my pride and anger makes me a gecko (small lizard), but the confidence God puts into me makes me invincible. I can tell you choose the later. Grace and peace dear one.
