My graveyard of regrets overflows with markers
The place I would go to bury my unfulfilled hope and dreams
They lie entombed, not as a result of lack of effort or desire
But due to circumstances beyond my control
I don’t like to visit this dreadful space – yet it remains outside my front door
So I have made a plan to transform this place
Planting colorful flowers on each grave
With a prayer that each unfulfilled wish
Will create a place much more beautiful than before.

It is indeed “a constant battle to see and focus on the good”, and you, and others like you who deal with chronic illness, live with that challenge every day. So, when you show us the good in what you can see, it’s quite remarkable.

We can transform, reshape, colour and heal those places where often so much sorrow is bound. I think you have already planted those blooms and you will soon see them grow, and open up in a wonderful array of colour. Not only will those blooms bring you your own rainbows, but all who pass your door will marvel at the transformation from within..
LOVE and Light dear Wendi..
I saw so much more within these words my friend, and even though the snail may take a while to scale the wall, it’s silver trail shows us just how far it has moved… Its progress may be slow, but it’s very sure..
Love and Blessings.. and Much Love โค

That a girl! That’s the way to do it! Let those regrets go and instead give them beautiful flowers to bring JOY to them. I seem to be in the same position, as I let go, one by one, my regrets. I’m choosing JOY! It seems so are you! I am so proud of you!! (((HUGS))!!! ๐๐๐

So love this piece you wrote! Well done…I can relate to your words on so many levels. One can live with chronic illness but it has a way of sucking the joy out of life…If we let it! Love the concept of your words and the flowers planted to combat the weight of chronic illness.Fight on!!! ….VK โค
