moving through life at a slower pace does not make you less important……

instead…..

it is giving you the chance to see the small, beautiful details in life that so many people miss

  1. I finally got that when I became diagnosed. Doesn’t that happen too often?! You finally slow down when you have no other choice but to slow down. But when it happens, it’s truly amazing. If I’m thankful for anything from my diagnosis, is that it’s allowed me to slow down, it’s so incredibly important to do that. Great post Wendi! Love it! 😊🙏🏽

  2. I love this thought Wendi! Thank you for sharing this today! Slowing down to enjoy what God offers us to see, hear and feel are blessings that we should all take time to enjoy! God bless you sweet friend! 🤗

  4. Thank you Wendi for this beautiful post! I am sorry I am a little late reading it, but better late than never, right:)! This is something that I need to learn to do, but I am terrible at slowing down. I keep wanting to do everything and not force others to help me. I am pretty darn stubborn and all that does is cause me so much additional pain! You really are an amazing person and I am so glad to call you my friend!

  5. This is so great. I recently have been been trying to slow things down in my life and appreciate the little things that God has blessed me with. It’s amazing what you can see when you just stop to look and appreciate.

  6. Absolutely! I couldn’t agree more…having had to slow down and unable for big adventures, I now find the greatest adventures in the simple things, like having a car picnic or watching the wind scattering leaves like confetti across our lawn!
