there are days i want to run…….run so fast that my illnesses can’t keep up.
i will keep running until i can no longer feel them nipping at my heels, stalking me, tormenting me…….
trying to catch up and derail my goals, my dreams, my future
i will keep running until i am completely out of breath and i am so far out ahead that i can hide myself from the beasts and watch them move past me……….
i will turn around and joyfully limp back to my life………
This is powerful stuff Wendi, it really shows your amazing inner strength. Loved it ❤️

One can only hope. But then we are encouraged to face our fears and take what life throws at us by the horns. 😊🙏🏽

Thanks for sharing… if you try to outrun them, they will never go away, simply wait for you to return… 🙂 if you face the issues and deal with them, in time you will overcome and be s better person than you feel you are capable of… 🙂

There are no limits to what you can achieve, the only limits are the ones you have placed on yourself. It shouldn’t matter the amount of time it takes to run that distance, what matter most is that you run at your speed and finish.

It shows a grace under pressure, a fierce courage, that desire to run. I don’t see it as fear, but rather as your inner primal self, a fierce warrior woman determined to survive. I struggle with chronic illness as well, and there are days where I couldn’t summon the energy to think about running, so I applaud you for that.
Have you read Warrior Goddess Training by HeatherAsh Amara? It was a really empowering book for me and you might find some insights in it as well.

Thank you so much Denise for your kind and very encouraging words, I really appreciate them. I am no longer able to run but it is something I use to enjoy in my youth and I do miss it deeply.
No, I have never heard of this book but I will absolutely check it out! Thank you….and I am so sorry to know that you struggle too………..the club is way too big!

Like most runners, they have a goal in mind.. To beat their best time, to achieve a certain amount of miles.. Running To, rather than running from is how I see you.. Facing down and telling that shadow of yours you will not be beaten. That you will always BE in front.. and it will never drag you down.. You have great inner strength, Never let your shadow beat you.. I know you are a Winner..
Much Love and stay blessed ❤
