I would like to sincerely thank momlifewithchiari for nominating me.  Please check out her blog where she graciously and bravely lives with a chronic illness and offers encouragement to others so beautifully.  She has been a huge encouragement for  me and I appreciate her!

HERE ARE THE RULES:

♣…Thank the person who nominated you.

♣…Post a quote for 3 days and explain why it appeals to you.

♣…Nominate bloggers each day!

“Everything on the earth has a purpose, every disease an herb to cure it, and every person a mission. This is the Indian theory of existence.” – Mourning Dove [Christine Quintasket] (1888-1936) Okanogan

I feel the truth of this quote deep into my soul.  Maybe it is because I am of Native descent and many of my beliefs have just been part of who I am for as far back as I can remember, or maybe it is because I just want to believe it, but either way…………they are words I hold as truths.

All living creatures that inhabit this Earth were put here for a reason.  We each have a purpose,  no matter what you are or are not physically able to do YOU have a purpose and your purpose it is important to the rest of humanity.  You have a mission……….whether or not you have discovered what it is…..your mission is important and so are you.  Yes, I realize I  just restated what Mourning Dove so brilliantly penned, but sometimes there is just nothing more to add.

I also KNOW with all of my heart that on this Earth was placed a cure for every disease, every illness, every ailment……………a belief that I have had, even before I became ill.  We just need to be open to possibilities and miracles that result from nature and not man made creations.

Even though everyone is important, has a mission, and we are to be kind and loving, to radiate truth and kindness, love and respect, that does not mean we need to do it at the expense of our self………….and therefore I leave you with a last quote……..

“I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.”

― Mahatma Gandhi

Amen!

My nominees are:  Below is a wonderful group of bloggers that I so enjoy following.  To my nominees………..if it is in your path to do this, I will look forward to reading your posts.  If not, please know that I thought of you………

  1. Dear friend, thank you for thinking of me, although I will decline – I always find it hard to nominate other bloggers for fear of leaving someone out. I enjoy reading your blog too and like both the Gandhi and Mourning Dove quotes. Sending you healing thoughts and love, Faith.

  2. First let me tell you how very much I appreciate you thinking of me Wendi.. I really do appreciate the thought and promise to take up that challenge..
I loved your choice of quotes.. And wonderful to know you have Native American Ancestry in your veins. I have always had an affinity with the First Nations People, and if you had visited my blog a few years ago you would have seen many pictures of Native American Indians on my side bar.. But the internet being what it is today, I had collected these images years ago and was unsure of their copyright.. So I removed them as I did not want to infringe on anyone’s work.. Even though I got them off a free domain site.. 🙂
And I am sure if you have browsed more of my past posts clicking on some of the tags at the bottom of my site, More will be revealed why I resonate with their energies..

You are so right about Nature and our Earth providing ALL cures,, And I am a great believer in nature and herbs and Alternative Healing.
We today often treat the symptoms instead of the cause..

Sending you continued love and healing vibes over the airwaves Wendi.. And again Many many thanks!

    • Thank you so very much for all of your kind, thoughtful and energy infused words……I do so treasure them.
I loved listening to stories my grandmother told about how she was raised, she had a hard start but found her way in unexpected ways as an adult. I am so very proud of my ancestry and I try to pass on what little I know to my children. Doing things naturally is so much better……..for us, the Earth, each other……..but I have found this very difficult for me in this world.
Thank you for your positive thoughts and vibes, I appreciate each one deeply!
And I appreciate how you encourage people, you don’t know, and may never meet through your blog……….it is a gift!
